DW 80s/90s Pre Collectors Series Shell Pack

This kit belonged to the late Owen of from Stereo MCs who used it on most occasions , and can be seen in various live performances, pics and vids on the internet and youtube

The kit comes with a set of Hardcases, which Have various Stereo MCs stickers, tour tags, writing, and cargo/load cards.

Early badge, would date to the late 80s/early 90s

Keller shells

Black sparkle lacquer in good condition. This kit was heavily used so there are various marks and scratches from use.  There are a couple deep marks have clearly been touched up at some point on the 12″ by the badge , but are only noticeable up close

Bass Drum – 

• 22″ x 18″
• With retractable legs
• Undrilled for tom mount
• There is an XLR input mount with an additional hole/grommet below it which was for live use. – A mic can easily be added internally
• Internal pillow
• DW Reso head and batter head
• There is also an additional bass drum head which was used on the kit

Toms-

• 12″ x 8″ & 14″ x 14″ hanging toms
• Rims mounted
• New Emperor batter heads
• Clear reso heads
• 12″ thumb screw on the mount was replaced long ago with a standard drum key so it can fit in the case.
• The Gibraltar clamps and L rods are included in the sale
• The Mapex cymbal stands pictured are not included in the sale

Lovely early DW kit with Keller shells,  these early badged kits don’t show up too often, so are a bit of a rarity in themselves.

This ones a tad rarer as it was owned and used heavily by Owen If of Stereo MCs. So now’s the time to get yourself connected……to his drum kit

Collection would be ideal, the size of the 22″ hardcase makes this quite large/expensive to ship
