  • I acquired a rather tired old OCDP snare drum on eBay that had some lugs
missing thinking I could source these and fix the drum myself. Having spent
over a year searching the web for the lugs someone recommended Tristan at
Drumattic to me. Having sent him pictures of the drum, I delivered it to him
and he sourced some alternative lugs that were an improvement on the
original ones in terms of both quality and looks. He then did an amazing job
of refurbishing the shell and fitting the new lugs to it making it better
than when it was made. I would recommend Tristan and Drumattic to anyone who
has gear that needs a bit of tlc to get it back in working order.

  • Tristan did a superb job of making a vellum head for my 1937 “Premier
Popular” snare, thereby breathing new life back into an elderly drum

  • Since that purchase, the cymbals have toured the UK for sold out shows, and been played multiple times on radio X and BBC 6 music – and today been involved in an EP my band have just recorded.
The amount of complements I get for my hardware is hard to count.
Without your help, none of that would be possible.
    Hope to see you soon

  • I have a Premier 2000 snare drum I purchased in 1972, it is an 8″ x 14″ chrome plated aluminum drum with a flo beam parallel strainer. It is the greatest snare drum EVER. I have been recording with this drum for 47 years! I was able, with your wonderful help, to purchase some replacement parts in order to restore the drum to original condition! I am so excited I can’t stand it! Thank you for caring enough to have the parts available. Best day ever!

  • Tristan at drum attic has been an invaluable help sourcing parts, giving advice and helping with the trickier side of drum restorations. He is my number one go to for anything drum related now. I’ve especially been amazed with the wooden bass drum hoop restoration he has done for me for various kits! His work is a credit to himself!
