Vintage Carlton snare drum

Stamped inside ‘Aug-28-48’ dating it to 1948, in which it first appears in catalogues

Deep Eleven Model (11″ total depth)

Shell depth is 14″ x 10″. (standard 14″ and will fit modern heads)

Chrome over brass shell with central bean, there are various marks and scratches in places on the shell.

Stick chopper hoops, these have some age / wear to the chrome, and show some warping in places

Parallel action snare mechanism. The top arm looks to of been replaced with a smaller fabricated arm, which works fine. One of the tension adjustment knobs also appears to be non original but fully working.
