Ludwig Stainless Steel kit

An absolute monster, and ideal for those Bonham fans out there….

Serial numbers are all very close &  would date it to 1976

Stainless steel shells

Bass drum –

• 26 x 14″
• Matching wooden hoops, these have some usual paint flaking in places. The bottom strip of inlay has been replaced and is less faded than the original.
• There are 2 areas of light surface scratching on the top where the toms have rubbed
• Sliding bass drum spurs
• Tom mount
• Short ludwig bullhorn double tom mount. In reality you would want to mount the toms on a separate stand.
• Pinstripe batter head
• Starfire reso head with ludwig logo and large porthole which isnt cut amazingly

Toms-

• 14″ x 10″ – 6 lug
• 15″ x 12″  – 8 lug
• Stainless steel drums mounts were factory installed opposite the badge, on these toms the mount has been moved slightly so the ludwig badges show better. This has been done very well. The original 2 holes on each are plugged with a coach bolt.
• 18″ x 16″ floor tom with legs
• All toms have new coated ambassador batter & reso heads
• All have internal dampeners

The kit is in great condition for the age and extremely rare with a 26″ bass drum
