Late 70s – Serials date it to around 1976

Uncommon psychedelic red finish

A bit of a players kit

Bass drum –

• 22 x 14″
• black wooden hoops with matching inlay, usual rash / flaking in places
• larger style retractable gull wing spurs – modern mounts
• Diamond tom mount – with concert tom post
• Display head with ludwig logo
• Remo pinstripe batter head
• There is some shrinking at the seams, and a few crack in the wrap by one of the seams.
• One of the bottom lugs looks to of been knocked at somepoint (by the wrap crack, and has lifted the internal ply)
• A couple tensions rods have some slight bends

Tom-

• 12″ x 8″
• This was originally a concert tom
• It has been well converted at somepoint with original Ludwig parts
• The edges have been recut to a more 60s profile
• Has the octoplus style tom mount
• Small lugs
• No dampener
• Remo coated ambassaador batter
• Smooth white reso

Floor Tom –

• 18″ x 16″ deep
• Very rare size in this colour
• with legs
• Internal dampener is not present
• Remo coated ambassaador batter
• Smooth white reso
• Some seam shrinkage

All drums have granitone interior

Chrome is mostly in great condition overall for the age. Wrap is in good conditio overall, but does have some usual marks and signs of age and use, including some shrinking around the seams
