ABOUT EPHESUS CYMBALS: Saadettin Koc’s name resonates as a legend at the heart of cymbal manufacturing. For over 35 years, he has represented the excellence and craftsmanship of cymbals. His journey began with 25 years at Istanbul Cymbals, where he served as the master craftsman. These years were foundational in understanding and developing the art of cymbal making.

Koc’s deep interest in this field transcends mere profession; it is a passion and a way of life. His love for cymbals intertwined with a desire to profoundly grasp the essence and expressive power of music. This vision led to the birth of the Pergamon brand in 2016. Pergamon was not just a brand but a reflection of Koc’s dedication and expertise in cymbals. Over eight years, it established a solid foothold in the market and became a preferred choice for many musicians.

However, partnerships don’t always align, and the founders of Pergamon decided to go their own ways, leading to the brand’s closure. Even during this challenging time, Saadettin Koc’s unwavering spirit and love for art paved the way for new beginnings. In 2024, he founded the Ephesus brand, continuing his vision for the future of cymbals and music. Ephesus pays homage to the ancient city known for its rich history and cultural significance, but it is not merely a new name; it embodies years of experience, accumulation, and passion in a new form.
