Vintage Zildjian Cymbal

Stamped only on the inside with ‘R.A.F Martlesham Heath’, and airbase in England open between 1917 and 1963.

There is no Zildjian stamp, however Zildjian were supplying cymbals for the British forces at this time and it was common for them not to be stamped with the Zildjian stamp.

The construction and lathing is classic of zildjian in the 30s/40s/50s

Looks like there is possible signature residue

I would imagine this would be one half of a pair of marching band cymbals.

Heavy at 1286g

Could make a great bottom hi hat cymbal

Good condition overall for the age, there are some slight edge dings/waves
