Vintage and particularly rare Eugen Giannini 18″ drum.
Handmade in Zurich by Eugen Giannini. Looks to date to the early 60s
Measures 18″ by 18″ – Grey silk wrap in excellent condition
Originally a floor tom, though it has has Premier bass drum spurs added at some point. One bracket has been moved at some point leaving a few holes – see pic
Streamline rounded over hoops – similar to Sonor/Trixon. Slot headed tension rods.
Floor tom legs not present, these were particularly thick – the brackets are all complete and operate from the inside
Internal tone control / dampener
3 screws in holes that look to be from a non original mount.
The shell is a ply shell with re-rings. It also has two slats at one end.
The shell splits in half around the center and is designed to hold smaller drums inside for ease of transport. The two halves are help together by a series of clips
Remo smooth ambassador head one side
Remo white CS dot with kick patch on the other side
Very rare drum, these are hard to find. It is in very good condition apart from the issues mentioned
